It is better to test if you can read the dongle License key from the virtual machine (not all virtual machine simulator allow that). To execute the test, install Winlog on the virtual machine, insert the dongle license key, and from Project Manager select "Help->About" menu item: in the "License" field you can check if it is correctly found.
