Ethernet/IP protocol & supporting Allen Bradley Controllogix

Postby pnogara » Mon Oct 04, 2010 1:00 pm

Hello there,

Are there any plans to introduce support for the Ethernet/IP protocol and communications with the Allen Bradley Logix5000 family of PLC?

Thanks Patrick

This protocol is in our to-do list. If we don't run in technical problem, protocol will be ready before end of 2010.
At the moment the only way to communicate with this PLC family is to use an OPC Server (we tried Kepware Allen-Bradley ControlLogix OPC Server with a MicroLogix 1100 and it worked well; it may be the same with a xLogix5000).
