Development with WinLogPro 3.2.28 with unlimited license (max 63353 sampled ports, if I'm not mistaken), and I connect to the ETH port of a Schneider M342020 CPU;
as the project progressed, I inserted REAL variables and S_WORD variables.
At a certain point the communication became more difficult, in the sense that parts of variables were not read (door status KO)
I tried several port optimizations (all numeric) but there was nothing to do.
I then tried to modify all the variables such as REAL, S_WORD, S_INT32 and at that point the communication seemed correct immediately.
the totality of the variables amounts to approximately 4200, and in the table of the same they have been placed in order of address.
I will probably work with homogeneous variables, but is there any suggestion on that?
Would it be more reliable using an OPC driver?
Discussion about communication protocols (configuration, functions, hardware required).
