Output monitoring and duty cicle calculation

Hello Guys,

I'd like to setup a winlog control over a device output (modbus RTU) so that Winlog calculates:

a) TimeOn (hh:mm:ss) when the output is energized (the total time the output stays continuously on);
b) TimeOff (hh:mm:ss) when the output is not energized (the total time the output stays continuously off);
If easier I can accept also an indication in minutes and seconds not hh:mm:ss (i.e. 105:20=105 minutes and 20 seconds)
c) Duty cycle (%) = 100 x TimeOn/(TimeOn+TimeOff).

Is this feasible? I would like the value to be displayed as a simple label in a template and of course I wish it to be updated every time the device changes the output state (On or Off).

Hi,
I haven't a demo for what you ask, but you can do everything using code and Winlog functions. Try to post the code and I can help in some portion. :D

that would be too complex for me to get the result, I can do the same easily on Excel by using reports created on Winlog

Thank you very much anyway, in case I have some spare time I will feed this thread
